Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. Cyrus was chosen in 2005 to be the lead of the Disney television series Hannah Montana, which is about a teenager who lives an ambiguous life. The actress was joined by her father for the second time. The show was a smash and record sales, sell-out tours and merchandise deals were followed. Cyrus was a teenage superstar. Cyrus was able to take on new roles after the success and fame of Hannah Montana 2006. She was Ronnie Miller, alongside Demi Moody on The Last Song in 2010 and Lola along with Demi in LOL in 2012.
