Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is a Canadian actress who is best recognized for her role as the character of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian origin. Cerra became interested in acting as early as eight years old. She appeared in many commercials when she started. An absence out of the business for some time before she resumed in 2001 as an 22-year-old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine recognized her in 2005 as being among Vancouver's five top actresses who are rising up the ranks. Cerra appeared as in the role of deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television series Eureka which aired from 2006 to 2012. Cerra also appeared as a character in Michael Buble video Save the Last Dance for Me in the year 2006. Her credits include roles as a lead on a number of critically and widely well-known television shows, such as Battlestar Galactica. Cerra has also appeared in many major movie releases like Man About Town, with Ben Affleck & Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity which features Wesley Snipes. Cerras' face as well as her body have been used in games like Mass Effect to represent Ashley Williams. Additional guest appearances as a star comprise Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and Dead Like Me. I'm the middle one which means I had to steal clothing from my sister's closets Khondabi noted that she had married her high school love, Joey Scribner Howard who works as a mechanical engineer within the power utility industry. Khondabi revealed to us she knew Joey was a close friend from her childhood and then they began dating as she completed the high school. They met during their time at Greenwood Christian School. Howard was a student who transferred from Irmo to Dutch Fork High School and completed his education at Dutch Fork, was a close friend of Khondabi. The two started dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School, graduating in 2007 and also of the University of South Carolina where she earned a degree with broadcast journalism. She also has a minor in Sports and Entertainment Management. Joey graduated from USC as well. They also have a furry baby the dog Liam. Khondabi shared with us that Joey and she are both foodies. Her favorite food from back home is onion rings that are served at Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi posted, "I'm intrigued. When I was in elementary school, I did educational interviews on our school's news show. I also was the anchor for our school's daily newspaper headlines. Oakland Elementary had a news program called WOAK. Khondabi said that her first big job as a TV news reporter came after graduation from college. The station was WAGT, situated in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi said that she worked as a reporter for Augusta Georgia for approximately six years. In the months following Augusta I worked as the morning anchor for the morning news in Charleston West Virginia at WOWK and finally Columbus Ohio as a traffic anchor and morning news anchor for Columbus Ohio's regional ABC as well as FOX affiliates.
